Our Story

A Dream Built from Love and Lived Experience

We are Diane and Ashley — a proud mother and daughter team brought together by love, lived experience, and a shared dream.

The name SENsis holds deep meaning for us.

“SEN” represents Special Educational Needs.
“SIS” symbolises siblings in sync — a tribute to Ashley’s two beautiful autistic boys, who are the true inspiration behind everything we do.

As parents and grandparents of children with additional needs, we know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate a world that isn’t always designed with neurodivergent individuals in mind.

Simple things like days out, activities, or family holidays can feel overwhelming when safety, sensory needs, and understanding aren’t prioritised.

We have lived those moments.
We understand the planning, the worry, the constant awareness.
And we also understand the joy that comes when a child feels safe enough to truly relax and just be themselves.

Where the Idea Began

It was during a family holiday to Spain, in a late-evening conversation filled with hope, that the idea for SENsis was born.

We found ourselves dreaming of a space that didn’t just accommodate neurodivergent needs — but truly celebrated them.

A place that felt:
